Just add beer and bake

Create your own bread flavour by simply adding your favourite beer to the baking mixes.
The baking mix can be baked in oven or bread machines.

Ingredients: Whole rye flour, spelt flour, rye flour, whole spelt flour, dried rye sourdough, bread improver* (wheat flour*, wheat gluten*, soy flour* from non-genetically modified cultivation), sea salt, Weyermann® spelt malt flour, dry yeast (dry baking yeast, emulsifier E491) * from organic farming

Weyermann® Beer Bread with seeds Baking Mix

Ingredients: Rye flour, wheat flour, sunflower seeds, flax seed, dried rye sourdough, sea salt, bread improver* (wheat flour*, wheat gluten*, soy flour * from non-genetically modified cultivation), dry yeast (dry baking yeast, emulsifier E491), Weyermann® SINADRY®, spices (coriander, caraway, fennel, anise) * from organic farming

You will also need:
Your favourite beer

Please add:

  • 0.35l of your favourite beer (warm: about 28°C=82.5°F) to 500g baking mix
  • 500g baking mix will make a 750g beer bread
  • the baking mix can be baked in the oven or bread machines

Preparation:

  1. Weigh out the amount of baking  mix and beer
  2. Mix up the baking mix with beer by hand or in the kitchen mixer and make the dough. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes
  3. Put the dough on a floured board, cover with a clean tea-towel and put it in a warm place for about 45 minutes
  4. After that form the bread loaf and put it on a baking sheet or in a tin
  5. For getting a nice bread top, brush with water, carve with a knife or add a topping (seeds and kernels)
  6. Rest the bread loaf again for 40-60 minutes in a warm place
  7. bake the loaf in a heated oven for about 50 minutes. Electric oven 200°C=392°F
  8. Small loaves will bake for about 40 minutes
